TPS2660: RTN to GND

Hello Kai,

The device uses back-to-back MOSFET for main Powerpath from IN to OUT. From RTN to GND, device does not use back-to-back MOSFET.

May i know RTN to GND have body diode and direction is from GND to RTN ?

The direction is from RTN to GND, it prevents flow of current from GND to RTN.

There is no EN pin in TPS2660, Did you mean SHDN pin?

If reverse polarity protection is needed on input, you can also consider TPS2663 devices. These device provide reverse input polarity protection without additional RTN pin.

Yes!! SHDN pin
it is a special application ,we would like to use 2pcs TPS2660 on AC24V and POE54V
In this case ,have leakage current from GND to RTN
As your reply ,TPS2660 have a diode and direction is RTN to GND
But I would like to make sure when SHDN is low (turn off) ,GND to RTN MOSFET will open and use the diode to block the leakage current

Is AC 24V a positive DC 24V supply? Or it has minus 24V also?

Are you looking for ORing of 54V supply and 24V supply similar to system example below?

AC24V schematic is below schematic , It will have DC 37V after bridge diode 

This leakage current issue will happen if the router work two set of IPCAM at the same time and the leakage current will flow from VSS to RTN

So we would like to make sure TPS2660 have block function

Reverse polarity block will disconnect RTN from GND only when voltage at IN pins is negative. RTN pin in TPS2660 has different function than RTN pin in TPS23756.

In this application, reverse current blocking function (RCB) in TPS2660 would be useful as it can block from OUT to IN pins of TPS2660.

Can you provide on which outputs or inputs of PMP6659 design, TPS2660 will be used? and how the power will flow?
