1.When i use BQ34110EVM-796,  once reset the IC ,the remaining capacity will become '0'.And I have programmed battery voltage table(DOD).For example, if change the same new battery, the remaining capacity will change to '0'. Is other parameters must be set?

2.Is the factory calibration  necessary ? Can i  set  parameters  instead of the process?

    Hi Davy,

    1. Please check to see what the value of Rem Cap init percent is. Upon reset, the value of remaining capacity is initialized from the remcap init percent value of the initial value correlated to the battery voltage table.

    2. Calibration may not be necessary in the factory if you determine that the calibrated values across 10-30 boards have a low enough variance and thereby a low impact on the SOC. This will depend primarily on the sourced cells, components, boards and construction.
