Hi,

I just tried to simulate the default design of LMR33630A/B/C for the same input parameters : Vin=4.5-12.5V / Vout=3V / Iout=2A

The simulation work well with the A version but the output voltage is not stable for the B and C version.

Do you know what's going on ?

Yes, we are able to see this in the simulation. We are debugging to find the root cause. Will let you know once we find it out.

Are the Tina-TI models for LMR33630 valid ?

Hi Nicolas,

TINA model is not available on ti.com.Please use the Pspice model to simulate the design from below link.

Hi Nicolas,
As the Pspice unencrypted model is on the web, you can convert it to TINA-TI. Instructions are available here in this training video.

Please let me know (if you know) what was the problem.
Can it be due to an oscillation between PFM and PWM mode due to the inductor value ?

Hi Nicolas,

Apologies for the delay.
The main problem was w.r.t simulation parameters. We have fixed this issue. Also, we have improved component selection for this device.
Our release got postponed, Sorry for the inconvenience caused. The changes will be reflected on ti.com by 8th May.
