Hi,

Why we go for sequencing of cells during cell balancing?? Is it possible to turn on two adjacent FETs? Can anyone explain?

Hi Anson,

Sequencing of the cells is to avoid enabling adjacent CB fets because the architecture of the device does not allow turning on adjacent FETs. This would create a current path across multiple cells and disallow accurate cell balancing and measurements.
