Hi all,

I'm trying to do passive cell balancing using BQ79606-Q1:

While referring data sheet I found cells are grouped into even and odd banks. I got an idea on how to do balancing within each bank .But how can we ensure that two banks are balanced?

    Hi Anson,

    Please read over section 8.3.5.1.3 of the datasheet very closely. After a cell reaches your desired threshold or the timer ends, a CB_DONE bit is set for the bank and per cell notifying you of the balance completion.
