LP38693-ADJ: Need the foldback current limit graph

Hi team,

 One of my customers wants to use LP38693-Adj for his New project.

The current requirement may be more than 500mA for few msec. They have already this part in AVL list.

The customer is interested in knowing the Foldback current limit graph with Vin-Vout <4V and also Vin-Vout>4V.

Please share the same.

    Hi Harmeet,

    LP38693-ADJ was originally released by National Semiconductor before the TI acquisition. Please allow us a few days to look into the foldback current limit.

    Hi Harmeet,

    The behavior for the current limit for LP38693-ADJ can vary with the amount of headroom (Vin - Vout) of the application.  Below please find the current limit taken with a 3.3 V output.  As you can see as the headroom between our forced Vin and forced Vout decreased, the current limit increased.
