UCC28070A: Replacing CT with current sense resistor

I have replaced CT with a current sense resistor.But i am getting a poor power factor(0.89).My full load capacity is 2200W. i am facing trouble on calculating CAOx and VAO networks. Please suggest me a solution.

Hi Kumar,

The UCC28070A requires a CS signal in the range of several volts for operation, current limit is at 3.3V. Have you used an external amplifier to gain up the signal from the current sense resistor?

The excel based calculator tool can also be found at www.ti.com/.../getliterature.tsp

The calculator tool will calculate the component values for the networks.
