BQ28Z610: SOC jump from 90% to 82% (1pcs out of 18pcs)

Dear TI Experts,

My customer is evaluating BQ28z610, they finished 18pcs prototype and found 1pcs with SOC jump issue. They made AB--BA test and confirmed this issue followed the BQ28z610. Attached are log, gg file, srec files.

Could you kindly help to check them and give some advices? Thanks a lot.

Hi Bruce,
The attached log files does not show a jump in RSOC.

Dear onyx,

Sorry, I don't know how to transfer log to excel file and to check the SOC jump. Could you kindly help to check another file from customer as attached? thanks a lot

The attached log file doesn't show any jumps either. Pls check with the customer and ensure you are looking at the rsoc column to ensure you are seeing SOC jump.

Hi Bruce,
A remcap simulation was run and the gauge must have made corrections to rem cap. Do you have smooting enabled? Smoothing prevents SOC from having such jumps except when you hit empty
