BQ76940: schematics review

Dear Ti Experts,

Could you kindly help to review the schematics? This is a 15S pack, BQ76940+external MCU system. Is it possible that MCU receive current information from load and send to BQ76940 through I2C? And the sample resistor of BQ76940 can be eliminated? Thanks a lot.

Hi Bruce,

The MCU cannot write send current information to the BQ76940. I took a quick look at the schematic and I do not see any issues so far. I will go through it in more detail and send my feedback by the end of the day today.

Hi Bruce,

A few observations:
- The SRP/SRN pins can connect directly to GND
- The CHG and DSG pins can be left open if unused
- The capacitors on the TSx pins are not required, especially if you are not connecting thermistors.
