Dear Sir/Mam,

We are planning to use LM5066I in our design to charge the super caps and Li-ion battery.

Whether we can use UVLO/EN pin be used as PWM pin controlled thru an MCU, to control the output current.

Also, please share the design files of LM5066I EVM in Altium format for reference.

Dear Rakesh,

Industrial Application: 48V

Supercaps: 2.7V, 350F . 24 Caps in Series

Battery Lipo: 16 Cells in Series. Each cell is 3.7V,12000 mAH.

Hi Saravana,

You would need a device which can block reverse currents (like www.ti.com/.../slva920.pdf). How you planned to use LM5066I ? Are you considering a blocking diode in the path?

We have used anti serial MOSFET configuration to block reverse currents.

Hi Saravana,

Ok.
I would suggest to go for a simple controller LM5069 and use dv/dt start-up as shown in the front of LM5069 datasheet. The design calculator www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware helps you to arrive at Cdv/dt value.
