BQ24250: short circuit limit threshold.

hi,

I didn't find any data about Short circuit current limit threshold. From answer in E2E before, it is about 4A. would you  like double check it? and  where can we find it in DS. of bq24250?

    Hi Ken,

    The recommended max operating discharge current is Idischarge=4A as per datasheet page 9. Regarding short circuit protection, the BQ24250 looks at the voltage difference between BAT and SYS pins. If more than 300mV typical for tdgl(sc1)=740us typical, the charger turns off the Q4 batfet for 64ms then checks again for short circuit condition. Those specs are in the spec table near the bottom of page 10. Isc(typical)=300mV/Ron(bat-sys).
