TPS5430: Using the ENA pin

Part Number: TPS5430

Hi,

I would like to use the ENA pin on the device to disable it.

I need to control it in without an MCU.

I saw in the datasheet that it should be used with open-drain or open-collector logic.

My questions are:

1. How much voltage can the ENA pin withstand?

2. Is it possible to just connect it to the + of the circuit (based on the voltage limits from 1.) using a diode to prevent reverse connectivity or open drain is a must?

Thanks,

Tomer
