TPS51220A: Load transient failed

Hi Team,

While doing 100Hz load transient from zero load to full load, the 12V output voltage drop to 8.4V. Could you please help to check the schematic and see where should be modified, thank you.

    Hi,

    Actually the schematic is incomplete, output capacitors are not included in it.

    Seems current mode is selected. For current mode, you need an R-C network for loop compensation. You should have two capacitors placed in series with R549, and R542, respectively. Maybe you can start with 2.2nF. Also, C621 and C619 should be 47pF, rather than 470pF.
