BQ34Z100-G1: BQ34Z110 vs BQ34Z100-G1

Part Number: BQ34Z100-G1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ34Z110

Hello,

we use component which is not recommended for new design. We use BQ34Z110 with two Pb accumulators (12V 7200 mAh in the serial connection of accumulators). In the future, when we will not able to buy BQ34Z110 we will have to migrate BQ34Z100-G1. Do you have any recomandation how we should do this migration? Does exist any technical sheet with changes beetween components BQ34Z110 and BQ34Z100-G1?

Thank for your help, best regards

Tomas Samek

  • Hi Tomas,

The bq34z100-G1 is similar to the bq34z110.

I would recommend starting with the default SREC in the gauge, loading the chemID with the chemistry tab, calibrating the device and then loading the gauging settings.

The gauging settings may either be entered in the GUI or the gg.csv file may be exported, modified in a text editor and then imported.

    Sincerely,
    Bryan Kahler
