TPS23752: How to generate PWM in TPS23752 between PWM and VFO mode

Part Number: TPS23752

hello, there is no details about how TPS23752 generate PWM signal in the datasheet.

I'm interested in how the PWM generate in both PWM and VFO mode. Is there a document that cover my question?

  • Hi Anders,

Section 7.4.2.2 explains the PWM operation in both modes. The short answer is that in regular mode the frequency is set and the peak current is controlled, while In VFO mode the peak current is fixed and the frequency varies. Of course in VFO mode, you would be running in DCM.

Please let us know if you have any specific questions.

    Thanks,
    Artem
  • Hi Artem,

    Thank you for quick response.

I'm really interested about how components 1-5 work together. Such as what is ZCD comp means, how to generate CLR etc.

If there is a series of waveforms(part 1-5 input and output) show together, that will make me clear about how PWM was generated.

Of course it's just my interest. Share me the document if you or anyone who have. thank you.

  • Yang,
I received your email with the diagrams. Let's continue the discussion via email. I'll put this thread as resolved.
