TPS61500: May TPS61500 can support 5Vin Vout 24V Iout 400mA?

Hi Sir

May TPS61500 can support 5Vin Vout 24V Iout 400mA?

if it can't support, Customer can change Vin =9V Vout 24V Iout 400mA. is it can work?

And may we have automotive solution for this kind application?

Hi Bogey,

I'm afraid TPS61500 may can't support Vout 24V Iout 400mA with 5V Vin, since it may trigger current limit;
But it can support with Vin=9V, Vout=24V, Iout=400mA application.

Hi Bogey,
For TPS61500 we don't have the Q grade, but you can use the TPS61194-Q1 it can support this kind of application.

I have confuse TPS61194 datasheet, Form Figure 1. Maximum Boost Current, is it mean total 4 channels out current?
if we Vin is 15V , the Vout can be set Vout = 37V and total output current 500mA(each channel =125ma)?

Ho Bogey,
The TPS61194 is a boost+current sink topology, the maximum current is limit by the current sink and current limit. For each current sink, it can only output maximum 100mA. Total 400mA.

The figure shows the most maximum boost current under detail conditions with different input volatge/output voltage/inductor and switching frequency. can you click "resolved" button. Thanks.
