TWL80125,does it can support LDO for 2.8V and 350mA

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TWL80125

I use TWL80125 to supply mobile phone camera

the camera need one LDO that 2.8V and 350mA

we don't sure that the TWL80125 can support 350mA and do not give rise to protection

  • Hi Gary,

The datasheet mentions a minimum current limit of 300mA for the LDO, but this means 300mA is the absolute minimum current limit expected from any individual TWL80125 device. Many devices will have even higher current limits.

Most TWL80125 units will be able to support 350mA or higher, but a small number may not. Every TWL80125 device will be able to support 300mA.

If the LDO is overloaded, it will shut down when the output voltage reaches 0.8*2.8V = 2.24V, or when the PMIC gets too hot.

    Best Regards,
    Rick S.
