BQ76PL455A-Q1: 10 cells each on connected BQ76PL455A

Part Number: BQ76PL455A-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76PL455A

We have 20 cell battery packs. We want to use two BQ76PL455A chips, BUT because of power considerations, we need to connect first 10 cells of the pack to chip-one (BQ76...) and the second set to chip-two(BQ76...). And have the two chips balance charge (passive) the battery pack. Please note, because of constraints we cannot do 16 cells of the pack on first chip and 4 on the second.

Is it possible to connect the first 10 on chip-one, and connect the remaining cell connections to the highest cell voltage (this is a valid connection in the data sheet); AND then connect cells 11 to 20 of the pack to the sense lines 0 to 9?
