the reason I asked about both the BQ25504 and the BQ25570, is that the BQ25570 is more expensive and we have the former in our lab already and so was wondering if the BQ25504 can be used for my purpose ?

One output power rail is sufficient for my design

Hi Jeff,

the user guide for the BQ25504 EVM (sluu654a.pdf) says that the BAT_OK high/low thresholds at factory set to 2.8V and 2.4V.

So can we not change these on the EVM board or are they fixed ? can we change these thresholds on the BQ25507 EVM board ?

Are you referring to the BQ25504 IC or the BQ25504EVM-674 EVM board ?

Here is the user guide of the EVM board i'm referring to that incorporates the IC above:

It says " The VBAT_OK indicator toggles high when VSTOR ramps up to 2.8V DC and toggles low when VSTOR ramps down to 2.4V DC"

What I would like to know is can we change these voltage thresholds 2.8V and 2.4V on the EVM board easily or are they fixed with built in resistors ?

It seems like the spreadsheet you provided points to the IC, but the EVM board has the resistors built and can't be changed , am I right ?

Okay, that's quite unfortunate.
Is it the same process with the BQ25570 EVM ? if we want to change the voltage thresholds, we need to desolder/replace the on-board resistors ?
