BQ35100: Calibration on BQ35100

Dear Sir,

Understand that during manufacturing, we will need to perform some calibration on this IC. May I know the calibration is independent to the battery that we use or we have to assembly our primary battery as a system to perform the calibration.

If the calibration is required to include the primary battery assembly, then, if the primary battery dead and required for battery replacement, do we need to perform the calibration again with the new battery?

    hi Sim

    WHen you are talking about calibration, are you referring to voltage current and temp calibration or are you referring to the reconfiguration of the gauge with a new cell.

    if the former, then no it is just one calibration that is needed. If the latter, then you just nned to use the new battery command. Pls see the technical reference manual for additional details.
