I'm looking for a 3 pin, SOT-23, Microprocessor Supervisor Circuit with an Open-Drain Reset Output with a nominal Reset Threshold Voltage of 3.08 V at 25 deg C. BUT, I need the /RESET output guaranteed for a Vcc as low as possible. We are using a device with /RESET guaranteed to Vcc = 1.0 V and are having problems with a short positive glitch on /RESET when first powering up, and sometimes the CPLD input pin that it drives sees a 1 on power up and sometimes it sees a zero. This is proving to be problematic.
I found your TPS3808G50DBV parts and the data sheet for them states:
"The /RESET output is undefined for voltage below 0.8 V, but this characteristic is normally not a problem because most microprocessors do not function below this voltage."
We are going to dead bug your TPS3808 part and see if in terms of functionality it fixes the problem. But ideally I'd like to find something with /RESET defined for Vcc = 0.8 V (or even lower), but with pin compatibility with Micrel P/N MIC803-31D3VM3.
