TPS23753A: About maximum power(W) when class is 4 .

Hi team

My customer asked Class 4 output spec of TPS23753A.

1. As the below table, if I applied 63.4Ω to 11pin of TPS23753A , is the class normally recognized and output? Is it any test result for that?

2. Power range of the class4 is shown as 12.95~25.5W. Can it be used with 13.5W output? Is it test data for it?

    The TPS23753A is a Type 1 limited (Class 3 maximum) PD controller. If looking for a Class 4 PD (that is also known as TYPE 2), I recommend the customer consider the TPS23751, TPS23752, TPS23754, or TPS23756 solutions. You can help guide them to the right decision by using our PD parametric table located here --> www.ti.com/.../products.html .

    You can then select "802.3at Type 2" under the "PoE Standards Supported" filter. We have 7 solutions to choose from!
