TPS22810-Q1: TPS22810-Q1 rise time fomura

Part Number: TPS22810-Q1

Dear support team

Seeing the data sheet, Rise time(us) of 10%→90% seems to be calculated by Vin×0.8/SR.

Is there any formula to estimate Rise time of 0%→100%?

It will be helpful if it is as accurate as possible.

Regards

Tomohiro Nagasawa

  • Hi Nagasawa-san,

Thanks for reaching out on E2E!

We don't spec a formula to estimate the rise time from 0% --> 100%. However, you can simply take the existing rise time from 10% -->90% and multiply it by 1.2X to get an approximate value.

    Thanks,

  • Hello Authur-san

    Thank you for quick response.

Rise time from 0% to 100% seems to be slow compared to the calculation you received and the actual waveform below.

Is there any way to predict accuracy more?

    Regards

  • Hi Nagasawa-san,

Since the rise time can vary more with CSS capacitor variance, load resistance, and process/temperature variance, the values provided in the datasheet are only the "typical" rise time values. Unfortunately we don't have a way to predict the accuracy more due to the variables listed above.

Is there a specific timing window you're trying to achieve?

    Thanks,

    Arthur Huang
