Part Number: LM3429

LM3429 is used for both standing light and flashing light functions:

By controlling 3-pin analog signal and 7-pin PWM signal to achieve two conditions,

1: chang liang; We lower the PWO, that is to say, make the 7-pin voltage greater than 1.24v. At this time, the constant light value changes with the PWM change of 5600-flash-hold.

2: flashing light; We add a fixed PWM value in the 5600-flash-hold. When the MCU (P54 is low) receives a trigger signal, we lower the PWO 20ms and the light flashes.

However, the FLASH value does not change with the value of 5600-flash-hold here. It is always the maximum value! What is the reason?

  • Hi Clark,

Can we get scope captures of what you are describing since it's hard to understand some of your questions above. We would like to have scope captures of the NDIM (pin7), the gate(pin 10) signal, the differential voltage on the PWM FET across R35 and LED current for the 5600-Flash power stage and the same for the 3300-flash stage but differential voltage across R69.

Please use these scope captures in describe your questions again for us.

    Thanks Tuan
  • Hi Clark,

We have not hear back from you so we assume you have resolved your issue. The thread will close for now and re-open if you reply.

    Thanks Tuan
