Hi,

 

on one of the reference desing for TPS62930 Vio is providing an 1V8 output (VIO_1V8). And this is order to power the internal TPS65930's I/Os. But there is no information about the current consumption on the IO.1P8?

Could you please give the max. input current of IO.IP8 pin? Thanks!

There is as well no details about the behavior of Vio regarding a output current step. Would you have any figures?

    Hi,

    Yes, it is not mentioned in the documents and I dont have this number with me either. Since this is the internal consumption it really depends on which peripherals are active and use this supply. For, e.g. GPIOs or keypad interface will use these. I dont see how will the max. current figure help you. It will be well within the limits of VIO after taking in to account the other VIO supplies.

    The consumption on this will not be a lot, I would take a guess and say it will not be more that few mA.
