TPS53515: the H level range of MODE pin

Hello team,

TPS53515 is FCCM mode once the mode pin connect to PG, so what’s the H level spec for mode pin? I can’t find this spec from datasheet, and we should add detailed condition about this.

I also checked the datasheet of tps53318, it has one clear spec about this.

Hi John,

Since we recommend MODE pin connect to PG, and there shoudl one min H level voltage that mode pin can be accepted. tps53515 is still keeping PFM mode if the pull up of PG is too small, so what's the min pull up voltage for PG if we connect the mode pin to PG through one resistor?

Antony,

The required MODE connection resistor values are shown in the datasheet in Table 4. There are 5 possible connections. Please follow the Table 4 recommendations.

The MODE pin needs to be pulled above 2.5 V nominal to transition to FCCM.
