Customer has question.

A strange behavior was observed during the inrush current evaluation with TPS2373-4EVM.
The current is also unbalanced, are there any factors that could be considered?

Hello Kishi-san,

There is no documentation that I am aware of. I suspect there could be 2 potential causes: PSE sequencing and control of the 2 pairs or the "turn on/timing" behavior of the FET bridge of the TPS2373-4.

I'll double check with the extended team and get back to you.

We confirmed with that this doesn't happen when using TI's PSE (TPS23880). This dip is likely caused by the turn on sequencing of the 2 PSE pairs. What PSE is the customer plugging this into?

Is there any difference?
Also, if possible, could you show me the confirmed waveform?

Sure. Here is a waveform with our PSE. I am not aware of the specific difference in LTC4291/2 that would cause such a difference in behavior. it's something we would need to look into.

Green and blue waveforms are the currents of the respective pairs.
