BQ34Z100: BQ34Z100 and BQ34Z100-G

Hi Zhang,

1、BQ34z100 instantaneous current shows current-41mA in bqstudio. There is only average current in the register settings. I want to read or calculate the instantaneous current from the register instead of referring to the value in bqstudio. What should I do?

Use the current() command 0x10 to read current. This value updates once per second.

2、BQ34z100 shows that the state of charge 24% does not match the full charge capacity and remaining capacity. 24% is incorrect ，Why?

The cell has not been through the learning process. Please perform learning after the settings are configured properly. For more information, please refer to this guide: www.ti.com/.../slua903.pdf

3、Bq34z100-G instead of bq34z100, bq34z100-G 12019.04.23.gg.csv is my configuration file, the voltage should be 13V.SOC and voltage is incorrect。why？

The voltage divider is set to 5000 mV and VOLTSEL = 1 (external divider mode). Please perform voltage calibration on the device. For a step by step guide on how to perform voltage calibration, please refer to this video: training.ti.com/bq34z100-g1-voltage-calibration

Please use the most recent version of bqStudio by clicking on the 'bqstudiotest' button at www.ti.com/.../bqstudio
