TPS3420: push button solution which will keep status

Part Number: TPS3420

Hi expert,

Customer is asking for solution which is similar like TPS3420 but will need to keep low or high status for output and toggle status to high or low at next pulse generated by push button. Do we have solution could support this application? Thanks a lot!!

Hello Ann,

1. If PB pressed, the output will toggle from low to high and latch into high state? (or high to low and latch into low state)
2. At next PB press, the output will toggle and latch?

Am I understanding all the requirements?

Hi Marshall,

Thanks for reply! But we only have one push button and only a pulse when push button is pushed. There is no architecture to keep status at low or high. Or do you have better comments for only one push button condition which cannot keep Hi/Lo status? Thanks a lot!!

Hi Ann,

My previous post were questions to determine the operation/circuit performance you needed.
It sounds like my assumptions were correct, but could you please draw either by hand or digitally the waveform you are trying to produce when the push button is pressed?
