BQ40Z50: bq40z50 PF Status represent

Hi TI members,

Could you summarize what the values represent ? 

PF Status Device Status Data Fuse Flag 3672
PF Status Device Gauging Data Cell 1 Dod0 16315
PF Status Device Gauging Data Cell 2 Dod0 10726

    PF status= permanent failure status. The fuse flag tells you the fuse has blown. I am not sure why there is a number as the fuse flag is just a flag in the PFstatus. . I need to check to and get back to you on that .. I suspect the number tells the condition that caused the fuse to blow.


    As for cell 1Dod0, that tells what the cell1 dod was when the permanent failure occured. This is inconsequential to you. Those are debug items we include for internal use.

    I just confirmed that if the fuse blows, that pf fuse flag goes to 3672. That just indicates the fuse blew . It doesn't mean anything else
