TPS22965: Upper limit for CT capacitance value

Hello,

 

I have a question about adjustable rise time capacitance.

Is there upper limitation for capacitance value that is connected to CT pin?

I want to realize about 50msec delay.

To realize it, CT is about 132nF from “SR=0.38 x CT + 34” equation in the datasheet.

Does this equation still work with this level of big capacitance?

    Thanks for reaching out on E2E!

    There is not an upper limit for the CT capacitance value. To achieve a longer rise time, the equation can still be used for larger CT values.You can also test this configuration on an evaluation board for further confirmation.
