Dear Team,

It seems our calculation tool is for Forward.

Do we have a tool for Flyback?

The customer wants to know how to calculate the transformer inductance.

Hello Kevin,
The UCC2897A is a forward controller and so the calculator is based on a forward controller design.
If you need a flyback controller you need to select a different part.

I am aware of this PMP20541 reference design.
And as I said the UCC2897A is an active clamp forward controller.
