Dear Sir,

I use micro USB to connect to EVM and D+/ D- short to GND.

Read REG0C register show "001"_ SDP mode not show "101"_ Unknown Adapter.

Please you kindly check this issue and advise.

    Hi Steven,

    This is not an issue and it is how the charger was designed. Unknown adapter is for D+/D- floating. For D+/D- shorted, the charger selects the other 500mA (lowest and therefore safest) input current limit setting, SDP. Per USB BC1.2, the next step in USB detection is for the host to perform USB enumeration, which would identify that the port is not SDP.
