Hello,

If VIN pin is connected to 3.3V supply, would TPS61022 still adjust frequency when inductor supply is <1V?

Yes. You supply Vin pin with external 3.3V.

So when VIN fixed at 3.3V, can TPS61022 still lower switching frequency according to the input voltage at inductor (say 0.8V)?

Hi Chris,
Can you tell me the working conditions of your application, such as Vin range, Vout, Iout range?
TPS61022 could be supplied at Vin pin with 3.3V and another power supply at L as power input. But considering this part using adaptive constant on-time valley current mode control scheme, the 0.8V Vin will need a very high switching frequency, which it not recommended in low vin condition.
I can choose another part if you can provide these information.
