Hello,
The value in table 5-2, internal error signals shows that the under voltage signal will be indicated by the Digital Mux bus (DMUX, signal D3.5 in Table 5-7) when the the typical (typ) value of VCP is VBAT + 6V. As this table also shows there is no direct impact to the device state at this point because it is an indicator that the overdrive from the charge pump is low. This DMUX output capability is useful for systems where VCP may be used externally in the system or a secondary diagnostic. The electrical spec of the TPS65381A-Q1 device is POS 8.1, VCPon, where the VCP output while VBAT > 5.8V will be between VBATP + 4 V and VBATP + 15V.
The voltage monitoring used by the TPS65381A-Q1 itself for the charge pump are in the internal supplies section of table 5-1, VCP17 and VCP12. These are the internal supplies of the device running from the charge pump. When the charge pump output becomes so low to impact device operation, these are the voltage monitors that will cause reaction to the device state, note these are not the VCP voltage with respect to VBAT directly, rather the voltages internally derived from the charge pump the device needs to operate.
