1, Does TI have a battery security scheme?For example, a mobile phone battery will not work after being removed from another brand

2, Does TI have a battery cell identification scheme?For example, laptop batteries, remove the cell, will not work

We have the SHA-1 authentication in our gauges that allows implementation of security schemes.

Does TI have a battery protection scheme to prevent users from dismantling different brands of batteries at will?TI does not recommend devices to identify this situation

Hi Timsen,

I'm not sure of what the ask is here - Does TI have a battery protection scheme to protect against the physical dismantling of batteries? If you have an example, of what is meant, please share it.

As Onyx has stated, SHA-1 is provided in the gauges (and other authentication schemes depending on device) for authentication with a host system.
