My customer is wondering how to calculate the power consumption of controller. 

Can you let us know how to calculate the power consumption of LM5176?

    Thanks for reaching out with your questions.

    The easiest way to estimate the efficiency of the converter is to use the LM5176 quick-start calculator. The excel sheet will also calculate the power dissipation in the external components.

    The power consumption of the LM5176 is dependent on the configuration of the BIAS pin and the MOSFETs selected. Can you please let me know if the customer is planning on using the BIAS pin and what MOSFETs the customer is planning on using?
