UCC28070: Inquire UCC28070 HV DC input application

Hi Sir,

Currently we have a application need to boost to 300Vdc/1kW from Vin= 240Vdc~360Vdc.

May I learn from you does UCC28070 can support this application?

If not, could you kindly help to suggest a more suitable part?

    Hello Edward,
    Unfortunately will not be able to boost a 360Vdc input to a 300vdc output.
    The output voltage will need to be higher than the input voltage in order to do this.
    I suggest that you consider using 400vdc as your output voltage for this application.
    The UCC28070 is not suitable for a DC application.
    This part requires an AC input to operate correctly.
    You could consider using the UCC28220.www.ti.com/.../description
    The UCC28220 is a dual interleaved pwm controller that is used for current sharing in high power designs.
