Hi,

A customer of mine is using already the CSD95378BQ5M in a design. They wonder what are the main differences with the CSD95378BQ5MC?

Can they use the CSD95378BQ5MC as a direct replacement for the CSD95378BQ5M?

    Hi JuMar,

    Thanks for the great question!  The CSD95378BQ5MC has enhanced top-side cooling compared to the CSD95378BQ5M.  Electrically they will behave identically.  But the thickness of the two devices is slightly different.  This may affect assembly onto the PCB and mounting of a heat sink if one is used in this application.  Please check these two items and as long as they are ok there should be no issue.
