Hi there, I was directed by TI customer support to post my issue here. Case number CS0022851.

The issue is that I ordered PMLKBUCKEVMB but received Rev A hardware. The Rev A hardware doesn't match the educational handbook I received. 

I was offered the Rev A handbook but I would like the latest version of hardware that I ordered.  I notice that there are improvements to the design that improve performance so I definitely want the latest version. Please can you send?

    The rev B differences only affect EMI performance:

    1. Added R14, R15, C23, C24 components to create RC snubber.
    2. Swapped position of L1 and R1.
    3. Added CE logo to PCB.
    4. Changed PCB to 4 layer board.
    5. Adjusted placement and routing in layout for reduced EMI to meet CE requirements.

    These educational boards have to meet certain EU compliance requirements. The revision change was made two years ago. I personally attempted to order one of these a few months ago. They were out of stock. The stock should have been replenished with the newer rev B. When did you order it and where from?

    In any case, the Rev A hardware should work as well for the purposes of the experiments.

    Hi John,
    I bought the hardware specifically for EMI analysis. I would be fine with Rev A hardware but I noticed the differences on the board that I suspected would give inferior EMI performance (on the RevA).

    Ordered from the TI online store Dec 18th, 2018. Order #T00223839

    Definitely ordered the RevB hardware and would appreciate receiving the exact version that I ordered, especially because it has improved EMI performance.

    Also it's a major pet peeve to have schematics/layout and hardware out of sync. I know I can use the RevA handbook PDF, but the nice printed and bound handbook I received as part of the order is for Rev B hardware.

    Andy,

    I think you ordered before the stock was replenished. In many cases, we will deplete the stock in hand prior to updating new revisions as in this case, it was strictly to fulfill a regulatory issue that only applies to EU countries.
