i will try to reproduce the issue with EVM . I'm concerning the current limit may be triggered as the device has smaller current limit if the output voltage is lower than 5V.

i didn't see issue in the EVM.
1. could you share the layout?
2. do you see the issue in several board?
3. measure the VIN, VOUT and SW when the output current is slowly increase to 70mA. observe what happen during this period.

from the waveform, the input voltage is stable. so the issue is not caused by power supply.
1. instead of suddenly adding the loading, could you try to slowly increase the output current: if the device still drop at 70mA current.
2. please apply an EVM for reference. as I think the problem is caused by special condition in your system, the EVM can help to find what it is.
