BQ76925: how to test the IC bq76925 is working or not

The bq76925 will come on when power is applied. Measure the 3.3V from the part to see if it is awake.
The part should ack its address if it is awake.
If it has been put to sleep, wake the part with signal to ALERT and see if it ACKs
Enable an output an make a measurement. The REF select bit will change the output level even with no input change. It is easy to see if you are controlling the part.
For a self test you would need to build a circuit. to replace the input with the test signal since the part does not have built in test signals or multiplexers.
