BQ25703A: Seems there is no external pin to connect NTC, so how to detect temperature at the battery side

Part Number: BQ25703A

can't find guidance for using BQ25703A to detect temperature at the battery sides. is there any solution here?

  • Jerry,

Yes, there is no TS pin in BQ25703A for NTC measurement. In general, customer will use gas gauge to detect battery pack temperature.

But there is pin14(CMPIN) can be used to monitor NTC temperature. BQ25703A embedded ADC and can read CMPIN pin voltage value.

You can calculate the voltage value to convert real NTC temperature.

    Thanks
