TPS563201: Thermal shutdown

Hi,

TPS563201's maximum operation temp. is Tj 150 degreeC, but the thermal shutdown temp. is 172 degreeC, could TI explain this? Thank you.

    Hi C.T.,

    It means if Tj is up to 160C, there is still output voltage, but the parameters in EC table such as current limit, reference voltage accuracy is not gurantee, and the lifetime would be reduced.

    When device Tj exceed 172C, device will shut down.
