BQ24259: can PSEL be floating?

Hi,

my customer tested with PSEL floating to set input current limit to 3A and find that it works.

But they need to know if it's stable to float the PSEL in the real application, do we have internal pull down on this pin?

Hey Howard,

There is no internal pull-down. If it is floating, it could be that voltage detected during powerup or adapter plugin was below the Logic LOW threshold.

I would pull it to ground to consistently get 3A.
