Hi Team,

Is there any limitation of cell balancing? D/S looks no limitation to control CBENBL, however my customer concern adjacent cells especially.

- Does Host have to ensure that there is no balancing adjacent cells at same time?

- Or Does PL455A avoide this automatically?

Hi Kotaro,

The only limitation for cell balancing with external FETs is thermal considerations. The bqpl455a does not avoid adjacent cells automatically, so the host must ensure that this does not happen.

What will be happend when Host turn-on CB for adjacent cells? or can work well?

Hi Kotaro,

You can balance all channels for adjacent cells if you would like as you have external FETs that can meet your needs.
