We are designing a product that is much similar as cigarette lighter adapter product, but the differentce is we don't chnage voltage the input power is from car Cigarette lighter socket, and output the same power voltage, there is not voltage change, e.g 12V input, 12V output, or 24V input, 24V output, the normal working current is about 2A
we want to add a current limit chip protetction in such automotive product , the current product limit point maybe is ~2.5A, do you have any recommendation?n if the currrent limit value can be programmed, that will be better. this chip shall stand some automovive related test suich as input voltage spike.
