150-400V input, 24v ,16A output reference design recommendation

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UC28025, UCC28180, UCC256301

Hi,

My customer is searching for a AC/DC solution for industrial robotic control application.  SPEC is 150-400v input and 24V 16A output. they used to use UC28025 and Two-Switch Forward Topology, but not very satisfactorily . please kindly suggest a close ref design. thanks.

  • Hi Yue,

Is the input voltage AC or DC? Normally we see applications that have a PFC front end, UCC28180, to converter the AC to a 400V regulated DC bus and then at this power level customers use the LLC topology to converter the 400V DC to the output voltage using a controller like the UCC256301.

PMP2094 is something along these lines, www.ti.com/.../PMP20946
