Customer would like to know how to measure the battery AC impedance. Any idea?

Hi Randy,
To measure the impedance at a given frequency, especially if it is a high enough frequency, you will be able to calculate this by applying a pulse load at that frequency and capturing the Voltage drop just before the pulse is removed.
The delta Voltage / delta Current will then give you the impedance at that frequency.

or Ti ever implemented AC impedance measurement in a real case ??

Hi David,

Are you talking about pulse loading or an alternating current applied to the battery? Our gauges can detect varying current during dsg and adjust FCC accordingly. While we don't have actual measured data, the app notes in the bq40z50 page explain how this is done.
