Hi,

when we are connecting the part with GUI  the supply is going to the part but we are unable to connect to the comport, even though supply is going to the part, LED  is not glowing and we have checked several times by connecting to other comports but the GUI is unable to open. The USB to TTL cable was working and 5V supply was available on J3 connector but the part is not responding  and the LED on the part is not glowing

    HI Revathi,

    Please check that you are following section 6 of the EVM and GUI users guide: www.ti.com/.../sluuba7a.pdf especially sections 6.5 and 6.5 and that you have powered the board through J1 with batteries and not just J3. Check that you have downloaded the FTDI drivers and check the dip switches are in the correct configuration, and if everything looks correct check that the USB to TTL TX is sending proper signals.
